Believe it or not, summer is coming to an end and NC State students are officially headed to campus, with Thursday, Aug. 18, 2025, marking the first day of classes. Welcome back, Pack—and hello to the new class of freshmen and transfers!
Located just across the street from NC State, we’ve long been a hot spot for students, whether grabbing a bite between classes, coming in for a friendly group brunch, stopping by for a late-night drink, or gathering family for nice dinner when they come to town to visit. Our extensive menu satisfies all, no matter what you may be craving that day—from apps like chicken wings and mozzarella sticks to burgers, sandwiches, and hot dogs to salads and entrees (think baby back ribs, fish and chips, spaghetti, and steak). And if you’re new here, you must try our famous Mimi’s Sausage Dip—it’ll become your new obsession!
Our all-day hours make it ideal to stop by no matter what your class schedule is—we’re even open until midnight Sunday through Monday, and 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Hungry after a late night studying? We’ve got a special late-night menu as well! For those 21 and over, we also have great beer, wine, scotch, and whiskey lists. Pro tip: Wine bottles are 20% off on Wednesdays, and on Sundays, all pitchers are 30% off! See our other weekly specials here.
Pack the House for Packapalooza
On Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, NC State’s signature all-day block party and street festival, Packapalooza, caps off Wolfpack Welcome Week. We’ll be open all day for you to come grab a bite and a bev before, during, or after all the festivities!
The annual tradition is held on Hillsborough Street and features music, entertainment, family-friendly activities, food, and all things Wolfpack—plus over 300 vendor booths. It’s certainly an event you don’t want to miss, especially if you’re a new student getting used to the NC State life and trying to familiarize yourself with Raleigh.
