Let’s Go Canes: Join the Sound the Siren Tour at Players Retreat
There are “Canes Bars,” and then there is Players Retreat. For decades, we have been the unofficial living room of Raleigh—the place where stories are told, burgers are legendary, and the Carolina Hurricanes are always on the screens. As we gear up for another thrilling playoff run, we are leveling up our partnership with the Canes in a big way.
We are thrilled to announce that we have been selected as an official stop for the Carolina Hurricanes Sound the Siren Tour presented by Harris Teeter!
The Details
- When: Tuesday, April 14, 2026
- Pop-up Event: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- The Game: Canes vs. Islanders @ 7 p.m.
- Where: Right here at Players Retreat, 105 Oberlin Road, Raleigh, NC 27605
What’s Happening?
The Canes are bringing the playoff atmosphere directly to our doorstep. This isn’t just a party; it’s a full-on takeover.
- The Siren: Yes, that siren. The most iconic sound in hockey is leaving the arena and coming to Players Retreat. We’ll be holding special giveaways throughout the event, and lucky winners will get the distinct honor of Sounding the Siren to let all of Raleigh know that playoff hockey is here. (We’ll be limiting the number of blasts so we don’t blow the roof off—but when it goes, you’ll hear it!)
- Stormy & The Canes Crew: Everyone’s favorite ice hog, Stormy, will be on-site for photos and high-fives. The Canes Crew will also be here with exclusive swag, giveaways (including playoff tickets!), and that pre-game electricity. ⚠️ PRO TIP: Stormy is a busy guy and has to head out a little early to get ready for the game. Make sure you get here early to ensure you get your high-fives and photos!
Fuel Up for the Playoffs
Whether you’re grabbing lunch before heading back to the office or settling into a booth for a long Tuesday session to lead into the night, there is no better place to feel the “Caniac” spirit.
The Carolina Hurricanes are scheduled to play the New York Islanders at 7 p.m., and we’re starting the party early. Come for the siren and the swag at 11:30 a.m., stay for the atmosphere, and let’s get ready to cheer the boys on to victory.
