The Peaty Paradox Arrives on Oberlin Road: Ardbeg’s 2026 National Tour Stops at PR!
Raleigh, get ready to get smoky. 🥃💨
On Friday, April 3, 2026, from 1–3 p.m., the Ardbeg “You Can’t Untaste It” National Tour is rolling to Players Retreat. They aren’t just bringing a 25-foot Airstream; they are bringing a multi-sensory immersion into the “untamed landscape” of Islay.
The Experience: Inside the Airstream
This isn’t your average “sip and go” tasting. Guests (up to five at a time) will step inside the Airstream for a journey that intertwines captivating storytelling with a unique, three-part sensory exploration:
- Sight: A digital moving wall displaying immersive scenes tailored to each whisky.
- Sound: Ambient sounds designed to complement the dynamic visuals.
- Smell: Manually diffused scents that evoke the distinctive, bold aromas of Ardbeg.
The Tasting: Beyond the Smoke
Participants will discover the “Peaty Paradox”—the surprising contrast between a heavily peated whisky and Ardbeg’s underlying delicious sweetness. You’ll be guided through the three core expressions: Wee Beastie, 10 Years Old, and Uigeadail.
Exclusive Tour Features
The experience continues with:
- Ambassador-Led Education: Learn the true story behind Ardbeg from official brand experts.
- Giveaways & Offers: Take home exclusive tour giveaways.
