We are so excited to share that our Wolfpack Burger made Raleigh Magazine‘s list of the 12 Best Burgers in Raleigh! This is by far one of our most popular burgers here at Players Retreat, a classic ode to North Carolina, topped with coleslaw, mustard, and chili—aka the traditional toppings you might find on a Carolina hot dog as well. Or, as RM puts it:
“Slapped sloppily between a perfectly puffed sesame seed Union Special bun, the chili- and slaw-smothered quarter-pounder patty—with an option to go big at 6 oz.—defies stereotypes by serving up all the nostalgia of a Southern cookout with a refined edge. Juicy, messy and loaded with flavor, it’s the kind of bite that demands extra napkins—and maybe a second round. Pair it with crispy chips or a cold local pint, and you’ve got yourself a reimagined certified comfort-food classic.”
With all the great burgers in Raleigh, it is such an honor to have made this list! And we have plenty more meaty masterpieces where that came from. If the Wolfpack Burger isn’t your jam, our menu is full of other great burger options:
