We’re shaking things up in the kitchen this week with two specials that bring the perfect balance of kick and comfort. Whether you’re craving a burger that hits every taste bud or a fresh, coastal take on the street taco, we’ve got your seat saved at the bar.
There is something special about the bond between NC State and the Players Retreat. For 75 years, the PR has been the living room of the Wolfpack—a place where legends are born over burgers and the history of NC State athletics is literally written on the walls.
This Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the NC State men’s basketball team takes the court at noon. To celebrate, we’re featuring our legendary Wolfpack Burger—that classic Southern masterpiece topped with mustard, chili, and coleslaw on a toasted Union Special bun—for 50% off from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
At Players Retreat, we kick off each month with our Mexican Weekend Specials Menu, available the first weekend of every month—Thursday through Saturday from 5–10 p.m. Each menu is thoughtfully crafted by Chef Jesus Romero, featuring bold, seasonal flavors with both savory and sweet highlights.
